Tashkent – first mentioning of the city goes toIIcentury BC. Tashkent was never the capital of the ancient state. In 1930 the capital of the Uzbek SSR was moved from Samarkand to Tashkent. Unlike other ancient cities, Tashkent can boast not only ancient historical buildings, but also new ones, which no less attract the attention of the capital’s guests. You will be pleasantly surprised by the very atmosphere of a constantly being built and developing metropolis, which is kind, sunny and warm.
During our tour you will visit architectural complex Khast Imam (Khazret Imam, Khazrati Imam), Cathedral Mosque of Khazrat Imam – one of the largest mosques in the city, with two 53-meter minarets and ceilings painted with gold leaf. The Muiyi Mubarek Madrasah houses one of the 6 unique copies of Osman’s Koran and houses a library of handwritten sacred books, textbooks and gift copies.
